Lars Quincke

Ich bin Lars Quincke - Pianist und Organist aus dem Süden Deutschlands. Momentan (2022) absolviere ich an der Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Heidelberg und Popakademie Mannheim meinen Master of Music in "Popularkirchenmusik".

Neben meiner Tätigkeit als Solo-Pianist/Organist spiele ich Keyboard in meinem Funk-TRIO, meiner Mannheimer Band "VIDO" und meinem Akustik-Duo "LEYLA". Außerdem unterrichte ich Klavier/Keyboards in allen Altersklassen (privat & an Schulen; präsenz & online), gebe Musiktheorie-Kurse an (Hoch-)Schulen, gestalte die popkirchenmusikalische Landschaft durch diverse Projekte mit, coache Nachwuchs-Bands, begleite Chöre sowie Solist:innen und erstelle auch regelmäßig Arrangements/Produktionen/Kompositionen im Rahmen verschiedener Projekte.

Meinen Bachelor of Music habe ich mit Hauptfach Klassik- & Jazzklavier an der Kansas State University, KS, USA absolviert. Davor habe ich mein Musik-Abitur in Pforzheim gemacht. Hier bekam ich auch Unterricht in Jazzklavier, klassischem Klavier und Schlagzeug, absolvierte die praktische C-Prüfung der ev. Landeskirche im Hauptfach "Popklavier", arbeitete mit mehreren (Gospel-)Chören und spielte mit einer Pop-Funk Band in der lokalen Szene. Ursprünglich komme ich vom Bodensee.

I am Lars Quincke - pianist and organist from southern Germany. Currently (2022) I am pursuing my Master of Music in "popular church music" at the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik Heidelberg and the Popakademie Mannheim.

Aside from playing as a solo-pianist/organist I play the keys in my funk-TRIO, my band "VIDO", and my acoustic-duo "LEYLA". I also teach piano/keyboards to all ages (privately & at schools; live & online), offer music theory classes at several institutions, work on shaping the pop-church-musical landscape with several projects, coach young bands, accompany choirs/soloists, and regularly create arrangements/productions/compositions for all kinds of occasions.

I got my Bachelor of Music in classical- & jazz-piano at the Kansas State University in KS, USA. Before that I finished my Abitur (high-school-diploma) with a focus on musical studies in Pforzheim. Here I also had jazz & classical piano lessons, drum lessons, reached the practical "C-Level" in a training for popular church music, worked with several (gospel-)choirs and played with a local pop-funk band. Originally I am from the lake constance region in Germany.
